Marco ("we", "us") provides a text-based nutrition tracking service. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Information we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect your name, email, and phone number, and record your consent to be contacted when Marco is ready. When you text Marco, we collect your phone number, message content (meal descriptions and related conversation), delivery metadata, and nutrition logs derived from those messages. We may also collect your timezone and goals you set via text. If you use a referral link, we associate your signup with the person who invited you for waitlist and reward tracking.
How we use your information
We use your data to operate Marco (waitlist, messaging, nutrition tracking), send transactional emails (such as waitlist confirmation), improve the service, enforce rate limits and abuse protections, and communicate about access. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.
Messaging
We message waitlist and invited users by SMS/iMessage as described in our Terms. You can opt out by replying STOP. HELP provides support information. We may keep records of consent and opt-out status to comply with messaging rules.
Data security
We store data securely using industry-standard practices. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel.
